Calefa Oy is strengthening its leadership for the company’s next phase of growth. The company’s Board of Directors has appointed Heikki Hallila as CEO of Calefa Oy as of 19 October 2026. Calefa’s current CEO and founding partner Petri Vuori will continue with the company as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
For more than a decade, Calefa has developed and delivered energy-efficient solutions for electric heat production and waste heat recovery. The company’s technology is increasingly being used in industrial, utility and data centre sites across Finland. Over the years, Calefa has established its position in Finland as a provider of comprehensive solutions that support the energy transition and has built a strong foundation for the next phase of business development.
Strengthening the leadership structure supports the development of Calefa’s business and the company’s growth objectives. Going forward, the company will place even stronger emphasis on customer experience, the development of its solutions and the expansion of international business based on Finnish expertise.

Petri Vuori is one of Calefa’s founding partners and has served as the company’s CEO since 2019. In his new role as Chief Commercial Officer, he will strengthen Calefa’s commercial leadership, customer relationships and product management, while supporting the company’s profitable growth.

Heikki Hallila has already served as part of Calefa’s Board of Directors for two years. During that time, he has been involved in the company’s strategic development and gained in-depth familiarity with Calefa’s business, technology, customers and growth opportunities.
Hallila brings to Calefa nearly 20 years of experience in international business leadership, building growth and developing businesses. During his career, he has been responsible for the growth, internationalisation and implementation of strategic transformation projects in companies operating in industrial technology, automation, software business and the construction sector. Hallila’s experience supports Calefa’s next phase of growth and the company’s objectives to strengthen its position both in Finland and in international markets.
As Calefa’s new CEO, Hallila will draw on his experience in international leadership as part of Calefa’s growth story and strategically build the company’s growth towards its next objectives.
